With all of the color coming at you over this past month, I wanted to take a look at the opposite, too. Not a perfectly white interior, but something natural and subdued. This living room wall finished in silvery salvaged barn wood is just the ticket:The image comes from Benedict Barns, an antique lumber and stone dealer in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. I love how patina and texture of old barn wood siding, aged from years of wear on a building's exterior, is celebrated (quietly) in this interior.
