Above are ten baseball books for young readers. Do you have a favorite to add to our list?
Even if your favorite players are on the golf course instead of on the diamond, the World Series is still an exciting time for baseball fans. The seemingly slow and never-ending season that has paced us all summer long is finally coming to a close in a best-of-seven contest between the two league champions. What better time to crack open a book with your little ones about the great American pastime?

My favorite baseball book is Pecorino Plays Ball. :)
And go Rangers!
I also like Teammates by Peter Golenbock, about Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese (good to know some about Robinson first), and Just Like Josh Gibson by Angela Johnson, which reinforces that even girls can be good at baseball!
