Yesterday we featured several ways to keep rogue bath toys at bay. But what about in grown-up bathrooms? We ran across a great DIY idea to disguise all the primary colors in your master bath (if you're lucky enough to have one) that camouflages everything perfectly! See the results after the jump!
DIY maven Living with Lindsay came up with this great way to keep toys at bay in her master bath. She used a lightweight planter and stand, painted both and J.B. Welded them together. With holes drilled in the bottom, the water level may rise, but everything drains out in the end!
Even if this style of toy storage isn't your style, we're sure you can adapt the same idea to something that might fit the bill perfectly! Make sure to stop over and see the full tutorial if you have time!
Thanks Lindsay!

Shaw's Original Fir...
Thank you, thank you, thank you! The only tub in our house is in the master bath. There are bath toys everywhere. Although the cute frog and lady bug pods are adorable for kids, they don't really fit in with mom and dad's decor. To add to the problem we have a whirlpool tub and there isn't a tile wall to secure that type of toy holder to without getting water on our hardwood floor. This idea is great! I'm making on right away!
we use a loosely woven willow basket, 12" square, for kid toy storage. it has the advantage of letting the water drain out. I would totally use that planter idea if I did not have any room under the sink for our basket, tho!
