We're excited because tonight we're headed over to Cisco Home to check out Bazzeo, a kitchen design that's been generating a lot of buzz. Bazzeo is the first eco-centric contemporary kitchen collection made in the US for the way we live now, where the kitchen is the heart of our homes and the soul —from the food we choose to the way we dispose of it— of our eco-choices... Bazzeo is an Italian word that dates back to the Renaissance. Because paint was so expensive, apprentices would gather the leftovers up each night and roll them in a ball to be used the next day to prime the artist's canvases. Bazzeo refers both to the process of gathering up the paint and the green color of the resulting ball and perfectly describes the focus of the company. Bazzeo is manufactured in the US using non-toxic paints and lacquers, is free from heavy metals and low in emissions, uses renewable and recyclable wood as well as non-toxic laminates, glass, aluminum, veneers and glues. The idea is to design kitchens that integrate smoothly into the whole house and that don't scream "kitchen." To find out more, click here, What do you think?
