Last month, spurred on by the splintering floor and an on-sale couch set, we started to redo our upstairs deck. All went well, until I decided I wanted an outdoor rug — the only attractive ones we could find were $500 and up. Thankfully, my internet sleuthing eventually paid off …
… and I found these mats from B.B. Begonia. They're eco-friendly, stylish, and (most importantly for us) affordable, ranging from $48 for a 4x6 mat to $110 for an 6x9 one. They're made from recycled pop and milk bottles and wipe clean, so you don't have to be too paranoid during summer parties or when your kids are eating lunch outside. Ours arrived last week and it's just what we wanted — and also too good of a find to keep to myself.
In addition to the rugs, B.B. Begonia also stocks a variety of reusable shopping bags.

White Enamel Flatwa...
Does anyone know if these look good indoor as well? Am looking for a rug to place under our dining table, but with a toddler most normal rugs are ... well, hopeful at best. These seem to wipe clean easily and I am thinking either on their own or with a simple jute rug or similar underneath, they might do the trick. Has anyone tried that?
Iiinteresting... I wonder if I can talk my boyfriend into a purple and pink rug if I play up the recycled angle. Do you have any pictures of the rug in your home?
Wiesje: They're more attractive than most of the washable toddler splat mats I've seen, but they are plastic (you can't necessarily tell by looking, but you can definitely tell when you walk on it.) As long as that doesn't bother you, I can see one working indoors.
SabrinatheDestroyer: My deck isn't quite finished yet, but I'll post pictures when it is.
Cool, thanks!
