Name: Beatrix/Bea (15 months)
Location: Kittery, ME
We were hoping to sell our house during my pregnancy, but after about 8 months it became clear that we were staying and we needed a nursery ASAP! I had planned out the entire room in Photoshop and it was quite a rush to do all the shopping and decorating at the end.
The very first baby purchase I made was the animal alphabet print from Ink+Wit. With the colors set, I spent hours on Apartment Therapy Family and was inspired by many rooms, including Little P, Norah's Sweet and Sunny Nursery, and Graham's Fabric Fabulous.
My favorite part of the room is the ceramic goat head I found on eBay. Some may say it's creepy, but I think it brings the right amount of quirkiness to the room.
We sleep on the futon when we have house guests, but I've absolutely loved having it there for naps and snuggling up together for bedtime books.
The black and white photos are milestones from her first six months and Bea loves pointing out everyone in the pictures. (Don't worry, her crib is pulled away from the wall decoration now that she's older.)
The biggest challenge was finding patterns that would work together. I had planned for more interesting bedding, but ultimately decided all white would be best against the rug and futon comforter.

What a lovely room. Love that dresser!
You had me at "Ceramic Goat Head." Great nursery! Way to pull everything together. With nurseries this put together I always wonder what they'll look like once the primary colored BPA free plastic toys and teethers come out! This one would still be cute.
Oh, this is just so lovely and it really is soothing. I am not a yellow and light grey fan normally, but you have pulled it together so well you have almost changed my mind!
Love that you added the turquoise. The lamp is lovely with it's patterned interior.
Well done. I am sure you have a very happy baby!
Love this. I'm probably going to copy the whole thing for my baby's nursery. I definitely want that elephant hamper.
Love Love. Our nursery is grey and white and yellow as well. So is our master bedroom, as we have the same Target quilt!
Super room! And I love the ceramic goat head-we have a ceramic cow that's used as a towel holder in our kitchen ;) Nicely done with a soothing color palette!
Great space! I'd love to know more about that paint color if you wouldn't mind sharing your source, it would look perfect in our bathroom.
Bea's mom here! Thank you everyone for all your kind comments. I'm happy to share sources for anything I didn't mention above.
@moderngranola, I believe the paint was Behr 490C-1 "ice cube".
Very nice! Love the pillows and quilt on the futon. We have a twin in our son's room and I love the option to snuggle and read there too.
Where is the little white table from?
@marie52386 It's from Home Goods, which I know isn't very helpful since their stock varies so much!
Lovely! I'm tricking out our tiny guest room for baby coming in November ... and I have been looking for inspiration to build the room around those very same quilt and shams from Target which we already use on our guest daybed! Thanks for some great ideas!
Hi! where is the changing pad cover from? thx!
I was wondering what color you painted the dresser? Thank you!!
