Location: Lakewood, OH
Color Inspiration: The room started with my love for gnomes and woodland creatures! I wanted my boys to have a fun room that had lots of color in it and lot of homemade goodness too.
Tip for Using Color: I wanted to have a lot of color in the room so in came the quilt and wall clings. I didn't want to get to stuck on green because of the walls, so when making the quilt I made sure to bring in all the different colors. The Owl and Deer on the wall are made out of fabric and attached by ironing it on the with double fusible interfacing. Amazing friends of ours made the tree(which is made from cardboard), what would a forest friends room be without a tree! It even has a hook inside the hole to hang something if you want too, but for now a gnome calls that home. I added the red rug to bring the last pop of color into the room. The name banners were originally going to hang over each of the boys beds, but Mylo is bunked in our room for now. Don't be afraid to mix a bunch of colors together, i love the result it gave us.
Colors Used: The paint on the wall is from Sherwin Williams Parakeet.
Thanks for your colorful entry Jessica and good luck!
