Bed bugs are still plaguing New York and why would landlords or building managers advertise the fact that they have infestations? So many people move into infested buildings unaware of the problem. To counteract this, artist Hunter Fine created mini "Bed Bud Hotels" that he places outside of buildings with bed bug problems.

These street art installation pieces serve as a warning that the building has bed bugs. Hunter Fine is inviting others to create their own "Bed Bug Hotels" installations and submit their photos to his Tumbler site. Read more about Hunter Fine's work on Huffpost Culture.

I absolutely love this!
Good idea. It’s like a reverse fairy home and public service announcement all at once.
Problem solved!
Yeah, problem solved for 5 minutes, till someone removes the little installation.
It's fine for art's sake (although I personally think his time would be better spent doing other things) but it's pretty temporary, even with the website. I mean, who is going to look on Tumblr for a picture of a building with bedbugs?
Not even bed bugs deserve to stay in those hotels!
