I love overhead lighting at night. When I was little, it was standard in a home, then somewhere home builders thought it a good idea to leave out the lights! Ugh! Now you can't even find swag type equipment at the home diy store. I love natural light in the day. Have you tried the OttLites for everyday use?
Not sure about the whole chandelier thing over the bed..looks kind of awkward, the ones placed so low I would be afraid of hitting it when getting out of bed. I like the overhang lights on the side of the bed thoough. The last picture...too much, quite a distraction.
