I recently came across the website of NYC designers Ashe + Leandro. Their portfolio is full of inventive urban interiors, including bedrooms that range from soothing to exhilarating:
My favorite detail from all of Ashe + Leandro's bedroom projects? I love the tiniest of nightstands in the third image: it goes to show that even in the smallest bedroom, it pays to make a little space for just the bedside essentials.

Shaw's Original Fir...
All these bedroom pictures this morning are making me want to redo my master bedroom... Or at least finish my curtains this weekend.
Unless that is actually Dennis Hopper's bedroom, having his picture above the headboard is weird. Well, even if it is his bedroom, it still weird ... or extremely ego maniacal ... or both. Otherwise, these are really interesting a fun rooms. I would want to meet the owners of most of them.
Frankly I don't see anything creative about their bedroom designs at all. People pay for this kind of advice.....???
I like #2 the best. It gives me a great idea to add color in a very bold way and not even need to paint the wall!
Hm, these all strike me as pretty blah too. In the second picture, are those curtains behind the bed? What are they for - is there a closet there? The bedroom with the leather punching bags also strikes me as a bit silly. Well, to each his own...
I am loving the simpleness of these bedrooms - just pared down essentials. But what on earth are those things in the 6th & 7th photos?
I really like these bedrooms (with the exception of #3. The wallpaper/Dennis Hopper combo looks rather maniacal!) Although I love color and innovation, I am a fan of "boring" design in the bedroom. My life has enough stimuli and I have difficulty falling asleep, so this would really suit me.
Okay, since my comment of "meh" got moderated out, I will make a fuller explaination of what it was to mean. The second bedroom has a very pretty color palette. Other than that there realyl isn't anything that new or interesting here. Other than the creepy picture of Dennis Hopper.
@xtina, you cracked me up! LOL.
I do wonder what they charge!
The 1st pic...lack of headboard makes the bed look like it's afloat without anchor and the chandelier just doesn't make sense.
I just went to the designers website and these images really do them an injustice. These select photos, taken out of context, look like amateur at best compared to their entire portfolio.
Wow, so beautiful! I would take any of those rooms!
Art direction interiors. Great in pictures, less so for living with...
Anybody know where the lamps are from in the Dennis Hopper room?
