As much as we love the hunt to find a good Mother's Day card (or any card for that matter), making one yourself provides just as much beauty and fun — especially when there are beets involved! Usually we're doing out best to make sure beet juice doesn't get on things, but this time around, that's the whole point! Rae Grant over at My Little Hen has been busy beet printing! It's super simple. All that's involved is cutting one in half and stamping away! The juices that flow will dye/stain your paper leaving behind a beautiful organic shape.
Try picking up a roll of recycled content kraft paper at the store and making your own wrapping paper with the same technique. You can also stamp your own curtains with this method, though the thinner the material the better!
Have you ever used vegetables for stamping before? How'd things turn out?
