When Kelly and David wanted to remodel their kitchen there were a couple of things that were very important to them: keeping the budget under control and making the kitchen period appropriate. By reusing many of the components within the space they were able to achieve both. Check it out after the jump.
Eliminating the upper center unit in the kitchen opened up the space and allowed them to make the room more appropriate to the original four square layout. By painting the original cabinets and refinishing the floors they discovered under old tile they were able to save on both budget and waste. The new layout and color makes the room brighter and merges the style of the home with a more modern lifestyle.
