I love Sharon's bathroom. It really exemplifies how a little paint, organisation, and a few well-picked pieces goes a very long way.Nicely done, Sharon!
Ditto on Sharon's bathroom! I'm so glad she took advantage of the great fixtures it already had and didn't do a complete overhaul. On the 8th one, is that seriously wafer board used as a counter material? Not only will it be a pain to clean but it looks incredibly cheap.
Sharon's was awesome - wow what a difference without a huge budget.
That particle board looks horrible and seems like the worst possible material to use around a room that perpetually has water running around it.re: Sharon's bathroom, is it just me or did she just clean and organize, is that really considered a renovation?
I love that square sink with the offset faucet in the first pic. Yummm!
I normally love before and afters, but these are just....well.....you know.....
Is it just me or does Sharon's bathroom look exactly the same. So you put up a shower curtain... does that really make it one of the top before & after's of 2010?
Sharon painted and brought in some awesome things, such as the flowers, and yes, the shower curtain. You don't need to spend thousands for it to be a true renovation. As I said before, a little organisation, paint, and a few well-picked pieces go a long way, and I think it's great that Apartment Therapy recognizes and showcases this!
All of the renovations look great! Did anyone convert their existing toilet into a dual flush toilet with a conversion kit? Some of the old toilets aren't all that nice to look at, but for thirty dollars, budget DIYers may want to consider it.
