Earlier this week, I gathered 10 fabulous images for Small Space Storage Inspiration: Floor to Ceiling Books. What a hit! Since then I've been thinking about how I can incorporate such shelving into our home to get my hubby's books out of the attic and on display. Here's a great idea from our friends at Design*Sponge!
Costing $70 for the materials and supplies, this bookshelf only took Melissa at Design*Sponge a handful of hours to complete. What a transformation! She used pieces of her leftover Christmas tree as support for the base and several places within the configuration.
I'm thinking about how I can adapt this idea for a certain area of my living room, which happens to be a flat wall instead of a corner. I would probably choose to use one paint color and possibly older, weathered crates.
