We recently loved Dawn's solution for creating a "faux" entryway in her home using a bookshelf mixed with strategically placed decor. Ashley and Stephen's entryway closet echoes a similar vibe--creating an organized space out of thin air.
Ashley breaks down the project on her blog but we'll share the grand total of just $229 for creating the entire closet. A muted purple paint spruces up the area and also defines the space. We really like the addition of the valance which adds layers and makes the space feel structured. A shelf closer to the ceiling conveniently hides storage space and fabric bins keep mittens, weights, hats and scarves accessible. Glass curtain pulls are a chic finishing touch and are perfect for keeping the curtains in place.

very nice work
This is great for my closet challenged apartment!.
Very nicely done, however, I wouldn't say something was created from nothing: the space was already there! It was just cleaned up a bit.
That's an amazing transformation!
I love it!
