Awhile back we took a look at these great wall mounted chalkboards. They were made from crib parts and we loved the idea from a thrifty standpoint as well as a practical one. There are so many abandoned cribs out there, something has to be done with them right? This idea is a twist on the other and allows the chalkboard to be free standing!
Over at Notes From A Very Red Kitchen, Katie has been hard at work transforming a crib that was literally found in the trash into a play room staple. This is a great project to transform something so frequently found at thrift stores and garage sales into something completely different and 100% useful.
