It's no secret that we're huge fans of Emma's Design Blogg; after all, she features some amazing photos of inspiring interiors. Emma recently re-painted her bedroom with Beckers paint and what a difference it makes: Her bedroom went from drabby dirty walls with yellow trim to a pristine white paired with a light grey. Check out more photos after the jump!
Emma used Beckers' Ada white for the walls, and then Yvonne light grey for the wall above the bed. Even though the room isn't quite done yet in terms of decorating, we already love the direction where its heading. The bright pops of yellow for the pillow and throw give the bed a wonderful modern look paired with the dainty crochet bedspread.

We also love her simple pegboard idea: a wooden plank painted black with nails.

Sheex Bedding
This is so beautiful and peaceful, yet lively with the yellow. Can you tell us about the throw? It's gorgeous.
I adore that this whole room could be recreated for under well $500 if you're savvy. More like this! Thank you.
Love the color combo... the grays, whites, chartreuse!!! Nice job!
I love the colors and mood of the room!
love, chartreuse is the best! Great job it looks awesome!
Really? This is what passes for a "makeover" in Apartment Therapy? Where to begin? To me this looks like nothing more than a bed and a chair in a room. No design, no style...in short, a whole lotta nuthin'. And please, no more rumpled sheets. Honestly, what is with the unmade beds on AT? I'm certainly not trying to hurt anyone's feelings here, but Apartment Therapy should be about design or design suggestions...not just a virtual group-hug/support group/positive reinforcement forum for design dysfunction. Try some color [the slanted ceiling is crying out for a cool treatment of some sort], some artwork, some real nightstands [not just a chair with a vase on it], some lighting...in other words, you are in desperate need of the basic buliding blocks that comprise a well-thought out and put-together room. Until then, this will remain a bed-in-a-room and nothing more.
@ngchgo: Did you even read the post? The room isn't finished yet. I think Emma is off to a good start. I really like her blog and expect her bedroom will look great when she's fixed it up some more.
I really like this and I am a HUGE fan of color so that is saying alot.
