From an Eyesore to a (Presidio) Landmark

The rehab of the graffiti laden Public Health Services Hospital in the Richmond District is almost complete. Now we're all finally getting a chance to see the new Presidio Landmark luxury rental apartments, which are ready for occupancy.

The old PHSH stood abandoned for years, a perfect canvas for graffiti artists. It didn't look like it could become anything other than a teardown. But now, after nearly two years of renovations, that old eyesore is an eye popping new luxury apartment building dubbed The Presidio Landmark.

And I do mean luxury! A 400-600 sq ft junior one bedroom starts at $2125 and two bedrooms start at $4325. Those rents may be worth it -- in addition to now being a LEED certified building, The Presidio Landmark sits on a National Park, offering amazing views and a bit of tranquility. Plus, there's sure to be a ghost or two wandering the halls of this new rehab!
