It takes a special eye to look at this massive green cabinet and see the potential for a wonderful addition to a modern dining room. If the color and scale weren't enough of a challenge, those pictures of Greek gods in the twelve door frames likely scared off plenty of buyers before Rachel came along and worked her transformation.

The end result is an incredible addition to Rachel's dining room, one that provides an unbelievable amount of storage. Large shelves, lined silverware drawers, even a fold-down secretary that Rachel turned into a bar- this china cabinet has it all. Inspired by the Elisabeth Entertainment Cabinet by Oly, Rachel and her husband transformed this thrift store find into a one of a kind focal point courtesy of easily obtained supplies and a lot of hard work.

What a creative and beautiful redo- Love the bar idea- you are amazing!
Wow, the hard work really paid off--I love when that happens. Looks great.
Just beautiful.
well, *I* think she should never have painted that wood, rather, she should have scraped off the old paint to reveal the glory beneath.
of course, i'm joking. it looks so crisp, and i love the mirrored panels! well done.
They made that with Lowe's cut mirrors and SUPER GLUE!! All I can do with Super Glue is glue my fingers together!
I'm so impressed with the skill and vision... I would've made fun of the Greek gods and walked out of the shop for coffee.
I love it when there's something like the Greek god prints (or other oddity) about an otherwise sturdy piece of furniture, because that's how I know I'm about to get a good deal. Great transformation!
I just jealous of all that fantastic storage space. It's a great redo.
Amazing! I am so envious - that is one impressive piece of furniture.
I can see what Rachel saw in the bones, but I never would have had the courage and wherewithal to actually make a transformation as stunning as this happen. Kudos on a brilliant job!
