Coffee tables are good for a lot of things, but that doesn't always mean they have a great deal of potential when it comes to using them for things other than, well, being coffee tables. This homeowner thought differently and has a brand new desk to prove it!
Over at Home Stories A to Z there's a bit of wizardry going on. At least that's what it first appears as you take a look at this desk that used to sit low to the ground.
With a leg up (pun intended) this piece of furniture is now just the right height to be a desk in their lovely home office. This transformation is a great example of trial and error and although the methods used did just fine, they let you in on a little secret to build it better when you make it at home. Hop over to Home Stories A to Z for all the details on taking on a project like this for your own space!

Sprout Side Table
Wow! Beautiful!
Now here is a great example of when to paint wood!!
Wow. That is beautiful! I have a very similar low coffee table that we aren't using but I can stand to sell/give away. I may try this!
Am I the only one who thinks this is weird? The legs seem quite out of place and awkward.
It does look weird with the upper part of the legs being thinner than the lower part.
I actually like the before picture better on this one.
