Wall-hanging entertainment center furniture can be an expensive endeavor, especially if all you want to do is to get your home theater gear off the floor. IKEA hack to the rescue! My sister Sasha, a big fan of Apartment Therapy, just informed me that I should submit my IKEA hack to your site. I live in Los Angeles and just moved my large family ( 3 kids ) into a small house. To make a simple, compact entertainment area I purchased 6 "Nesna" kiddy tables for $14.99 each and converted them into this shelving system. I actually bought a 7th for spare lumber so I could build the "cord channel" up the middle.
