Even if your little Wonder Woman spins into her costume, she still needs somewhere to hang it every night. Jennifer saw the potential in this old tallboy dresser and transformed it into a darling kid-sized costume closet for her daughter Chloe.

Jennifer was inspired by a similar project she saw on Pinterest and took this on as part of the Earth Day Canada Upcycling Challenge. The dresser needed some TLC and then Jennifer could focus on the fun stuff like adding jewelry hooks, a sunny mirror and patterned wrapping paper.
Thanks Jennifer!

I love this! Very cute!
this is very sweet. beats the basket my daughter and I throw all her stuff into. nice to see it all displayed so pretty. great job!
Adorable!
Luv it!
Looks like the wardrobe I had for my dolls when I was a kid :)
Really adorable, looks like you could maybe adapt one of those useless old tv consoles as well.
Wow! So cute! I don't have a child, but if I decide to have one, this is for sure a bedroom necessity. Adorable and creative!
Well now how cute is that? I might have gone with cute, whimsical drawer pulls, but still, so cute.
Super cute. I want to play dress up now!
Wonderful! Old tv units also possibilities.
so adorable!
I am DYING over this! WONDERFUL!!! This is exactly what I'd do for my girls if I could. They have a cardboard treasure chest for their dress-ups, but they keep sitting on it and it's not long for this world. You've totally inspired me to start scouting for my own dress-up cabinet!
If you're short on space, you can do what we did and convert an old footlocker. There are plenty of them hanging around in thrift shops, just waiting to be transformed!

That is so sweet but as a mother to three very young girls, it would take a lot of training and nagging to keep that looking so nicely organized. I think that set-up would last about 30 seconds around here! :-)
This is very cute, but why do you need a whole set-up for 6 costumes. I would like to see it with a realistic amount of costumes and shoes. (I know, I know aesthetically it looks better this way but how about a few photos with real use.)
This is great!
I'm with mamamamaqc on this one; I have three girls, too, and there's no way all those dress-up clothes would end up back on their hangers unless mama is the one doing it. A row of hooks would work 100 times better.
Um, Mamamamaqc & tablefors, If you don't expect your kids to be neat, they won't be.
As a child, my mom had a "a place for everything and everything in it's place" policy, and we had no choice but to abide.
It goes like this,
Mom: "Did you tidy up your room and put everything away?"
Kids: "yes"
Mom: "Great, I want to go see!"
If the kids panic and say no, they didn't clean it up.
If they welcome to show it off, they did.
Cute idea! Especially for toddler clothes that need to hang but are too small to fill regular wardrobes. My son's nursery has a cloud print feature wall so it would be awesome to find cloud print paper. Hm, inspired ...
Clickchick, I don't understand how you got the impression I don't expect my children to clean-up after themselves. I am just realistic about what my five year old and three year old twins can do. We have our dress ups lined-up on hooks which makes clean-up quick and easy. Hangers would do the opposite and judging by the picture-- the wardrobe featured is for a young child so the parent is likely doing a lot of work to make it look like the photo. Do you have children? If so, I am surprised because it is almost always people who don't have children who offer advice like yours.
Did I see you with this project on CityLine? Way to go!
