These two white dressers are perfectly fine for a baby's room, but aunt-to-be Meg got her hands and, more importantly, paint brushes on them to create a pair of woodsy dressers inspired by her nephew's nursery bedding.

If it looks like a lot of work - well, it was! Meg was under a deadline to finish these so they could be hand delivered by her parents. All told, it took her 32 hours and 11 different paint colors - we're tired just thinking about it. They were a surprise for her nephew's (due-in-November) parents and we imagine they were thrilled. They were painted to coordinate with Skip Hop's TreeTop Friends bedding.
Below is a detail shot and you can see more on Meg's blog Never a Dull Day.

Gasp! Amazing. I'm so tired just looking at it that I think I'll take a nap. Kudos to you and what a lucky, lucky nephew!
That is fantastic! My November baby's nursery has woodland touches, too, and these are absolutely adorable!
So. Cute.

THAT. is. awesomeness.
Wow. Uhhh-mazing.
That's a labor of love :)
When I see a 'before' dresser, I think "What else can they do"? Then you see something like this or the dresser that had the reverse stenciling with the sail both and think "Man oh Man, these people got skills"!
You want to reach out and hug 'em!
Hi! I love this! I recently ordered the Treetop Friends bedding collection. I'm curious to know what the crib (I'm assuming it was to coordinate with the TF baby bedding collection) looks like. I love where you went with this, but wonder if the crib/bed is painted the same color as the dresser and chest. I have ordered a cherry crib and would love to come up with a creative way to do something similar. I'm thinking of thrifting a chest, toychest, or something and adding personal touches to it, but they wouldn't match the crib......just like to know which way you went with it for the full set.
