Relocating from Brooklyn, NY to Providence, RI is a big life change but tack on a home renovation and a little baby and you’ve got yourself a pretty busy life. That’s exactly what AT Reader Joshua has been up to and he was kind enough to share a few of the lovely before & after pictures with us here. Follow the jump to see the pay off of all their hard work in this great Providence home...

We love simple makeovers that revolve around just settling in and making a space your own — not every renovation has to be a complete gut and rebuild. Joshua and his family have created a home full of character and personality and most of it is just paint, wallpaper and their own furnishings. Great job keeping the demo to a minimum and thanks for sharing your lovely before & after with AT Boston!

Nice. I am not sure exactly what was done int he foyer though.
What a lovely and tasteful transformation
Very nice job! The reno is stylish but still fits in with the house. It reminds me of a house I featured on my blog today: http://www.northernwestchesterhome.blogspot.com/
I like all of the changes except the kitchen.
omg, I love love love the bathroom transformation. Have always wanted that Tall Trees wallpaper. Joshua, where did you find it in that color? I also love your mirror hung on the diagonal over the corner sink-- I have a corner sink too and never thought to hang the mirror like that. Great job all the way around!
You did a great job :) I like the bathroom very much!
Joshua, you rock!!!! It looks beautiful!!
The only ? i have is about the toilet paper holder, it looks very far away from the commode. and i wonder about it, cuz i have one far away and it's a Pain, but yours looks even farther away.
Great job, thanks for sharing.
that goyard-esq wallpaper in the bedroom is stunning. where is it from?
Great job! Changes that make a large impact
You guys did an amazing job on every single room and it all looks really professional and complementary towards each other.
Yay! Lil Rhody made it onto AT. Woohoo. The house looks great too.
i love, love the white marble counter. just gorgeous.
Bravo to making changes on a smaller budget and thank you for not gutting the interior.
But am I the only one who feels a lack of cohesiveness in here? I don't have a problem with the muted palate but it's as though the statement of the moldings have almost vanished. The eclectic and modern furnishings seem to clash with the architectural details of the home.
Did he change the floor in the bedroom, the wood looks diagonal in the first photo, plus the previous bedroom door looks gorgeous, as well as, the door know and plate, what happened to those?
The kitchen transformation is amazing. It looks so bright and classic. The counters are gorgeous!
Great job on the powder room, too. The wallpaper design makes the room look taller. I need a tiny corner sink like yours for my tiny main bathroom.
Love the place Joshua! Where is the wallpaper in the bedroom from?
i love it! really love your bathroom, those tiles and wall paper are just awesome. what paint did you use in the foyer? its so nice!
Love the changes! Excellent job.
