Where some people see individual IKEA items other see components for a greater project...an IKEA hack waiting to happen. Check out this organization solution which could be gracing your walls and organizing your home office from all that inbox/outbox clutter...
The materials list isn't too long and you might already have most of these items in your toolbox/garage, as outline from the pages of Australian shelter magazine, Real Living:
- Tape measure
- Handsaw
- Pencil
- Spirit level
- Screws
- Cordless drill
- Tryggve shelf (79cm x 28cm)
- Brackets
- Knuff plywood magazine files from Ikea
An hour or a little more and you've got a place to keep things organized, with an additional shelf above. Other ideas are: paint the edges and interior of each cubby hole for a splash of colour; drill a hole to run a long USB cord (how does 10' work for you?) for charging mobile devices and use the mail station as a charging dock; hide your wireless router or USB hub inside one of the magazine files.

Love this idea.
Nice. But think using a few more magazine holders, butted up against one another, plus a little paint, would make this an even better end result!
