A humble tuna can has more possibilities than filler for your recycling bin. Give it another life with a pinch and a pull. Want to see what it looks like now?
We checked in with Camilla over at Family Chic and although this craft isn't a lavish one (heck there isn't even a hot glue gun involved) that doesn't mean there isn't beauty in its simplicity.
Maybe you're looking to make something special on a budget, or Valentine's gifts or containers, either way you're in luck. Without any tools, Camilla shares how she shaped this short can into something quite special. Great design doesn't always have to be complicated, it can be as simple as a tuna can serving a purpose! You surprised me with this one! What a great idea!
So... I have a couple of cans of tuna that have expired in my pantry. I haven't tossed them because I felt guilty (yeah, weird, I know). So now I'm thinking about opening them up, tossing the bad fish, and using the cans. :D
I have made several storage containers with tin cans using decoupage and fun papers, paint and even birch bark. This one is so cool in it's simplicity and fun shape!
It was prettier as it was.
So cool! I would never have thought of that!
Wow. Nice transformation.
