Miruna hesitated over this piece —she thought that it was quite big and chunky. Instead of passing it up, she found a unique way to give this large piece some much needed texture and dimension.
I decided to soften it up with white water-based paint. At first I wanted to do a steciled dress up, but those are so common now. A little bit of bedtime brainstorming and the dresser came to life. The doors are covered with the pages of a french book, so chic. It took a lot of work and time, but it was a well worth it as a learning process.
