Take a little four-dollar thrift store chair. Add some cut-up bits of colorful paper and that magical elixir known as Modge Podge. Spend a few hours making it all come together and you get…

...a one-of-a-kind seriously fun seat! Erin at In Between Laundry made this basic thrift store find something special by getting busy with the colorful paper and the Modge Podge. We especially like how the botanical/butterfly motif echoes the natural texture of the woven seat. This little gem would fit perfectly in any young nature-lover's room.

Nomade Express Slee...
Oh, I just love this! It is so sweet. Nice work :)
@WallFlowerPower - it's paper and Mod Podge, which generally doesn't add up to too much money.
For a child's chair this is adorable.
adorable :)
Sweet.
This is ridiculously cute!
I think it's darling!
I love it. Way cuter than before - nice job!
What a great idea! Now I want to do something similar with other pieces.
As a high school graduation gift, my most creative friend did this to full sized wooden chairs for 4 of us. She painted them bright beautiful colors and covered the chairs with photos of the 5 of us growing up together. It was the most amazing gift, and I still have the chair, even though it's falling apart a bit.
great for a kid's room...very sweet
So cute! Another hidden benefit of Modge Podge is it wipes clean easily.

Fun!
Eh.
Well that's adorable!
Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the after is so adorable ! You took a dull chair and made it kid-worthy ! I doubt any "stickers " were used to make this art, it seems with this project you could use cast off paper to create something wonderful.
After. Definitely after.
adorbs
Very cute. I think that's probably either nice quality gift wrap ($5-10 per roll?) or else scrapbook paper (~$1 per sheet.) Not too bad, cost-wise.
I would recommend an additional sealant though mod podge doesn't hold up that great it's pretty much Elmer's glue, if you want the paper to last a clear coat would be a good idea. love it! it is so cute!
Love it!
Really cute!! A larger chair done up like this (or with other paper elements) would be fun even for adults!
