Before & After: Glee Co-Creator's Bungalow Makeover

Secrets From a Stylist

Last week I was catching up on my design shows and watched Secrets From a Stylist. HGTV's new show features Design Star winner Emily Henderson. Being a prop stylist for decor magazines, it is no surprise that her style is very relevant. Her goal for Ian Brennan's home, the co-creator of Glee, was to combine historic traditional, global traveler, and '60s mod decor.

She tackled the challenge and incorporated subtle hints to each design style. The living room included a Moroccan hanging light with a silver trunk and a traditional rug. The guest bedroom was incredibly small and included a built-in seating nook, but no bed. Emily managed to fit a bed in and made the most out of the tiny space. We can not wait to see what she creates for her next makeover.
