Believe It: Furniture Made From Coffee Grounds

Last week we mentioned a quick tip for staining furniture with coffee, but what happens to all those grounds that get discarded? Yes, you can compost them, but what else? The chairs above are, believe it or not, made from coffee grounds!

There is a ridiculous amount of coffee grounds in the world. Finding a new use for them might have been tricky, but I'm going on record saying the hard work paid off because these chairs are beautiful!

There's a whole line of furniture that's being created by the Curface team entitled Re-Worked. It's doubtful that this world will cease their caffeine addiction anytime soon, so it looks like they should have a pretty good supply on their hands to continue creating pieces of this nature. It would be fun to see them expand to beds, or even boards to make things like cabinets or countertops.
