With the multiple devices many of us own, at the end of each day we need a place to charge them all. The Conserve Valet from Belkin allows you to charge your devices with style while reducing wire clutter.

As far as style goes, Belkin has done a great job at making a handsome looking charging station that fits well with any decor. The Valet is matte black with a soft rubberized top to keep your gadgets from slipping. The base is a cream white with a touch of yellow-green on the top button and bottom base. Overall the charger has a nice neutral palette and although it blends well into its surroundings, up close it has some nice detail. The Valet is small and takes up very little counter space, with just enough room on the top for 3 smartphone-sized devices.

It features 4 USB charging ports: 3 on the back and 1 on the right side. It also comes with a micro and mini USB cable. Both cables are the perfect length and are designed to cleanly wrap around the charger. The USB heads on the cables are also angled so that they fit just right. Using standard USB ports allows you to use your own USB charging cable rather than purchasing costly proprietary cables.

Like the other Conserve products from Belkin, this charging station is about saving energy. Normally when you have a dock or phone charger plugged into the wall, although it may not be charging your device, it still draws up some electricity. However the Valet charges only when you want it to. When you plug in your device, simply press the green button on the top to initiate the charging process. After 4 hours, the Valet will shut off completely. If you happen to plug in a new device before the 4 hours are up, the Valet is smart enough to restart the charge time.

Overall, the Valet has a lot going for it with an energy saving feature that no other charging station has. At $39.99, it's half the price of its closest competition, the Bluelounge Refresh. The design is clean, simple and compact.

Pros
- Saves energy
- Uses your own charging cable
- Sleek and simple Design
- Low Price

Cons
- Must remember to press charging button
- Unable to charge iPad
