Half pint. Relief has come to all those who have had to buy quart after quart of housepaint when testing colors in their apartment. Everyone knows that paper paint chips are about as accurate as a Gallup poll, so it comes as good news that Benjamin Moore has had a new line of small sample jars of 260 of their most popular colors for only $3.49.

In stores for two months now - ie. Janovic Plazas in Manhattan - they are reported to be popular and moving swiftly. We wonder if the 260 colors will be enough for our attraction to obscure and "directional" colors (can we use that word?), and would love to know what others think. This is at least a great step towards cutting down on wasting a ton of paint. MGR
