- What I Love About My Small Home:
- We love the natural light that floods our apartment. Nothing feels better than opening the windows on a summer day, mixing up some margaritas, and pumping Mas que Nada radio through Pandora. And being in a small space with a working fireplace makes for cozy winter nights leading up to Christmas!
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- The biggest challenge has definitely been our closet sized kitchen and lack of food and dish storage. We love to cook, and have both accumulated great kitchen tools that we couldn't bear to leave behind. The armoire has been an absolute savior in this area — it even has room for a bar, a must in any New York apartment.

I love this! Perfect use of the space and I can't believe you have two bedrooms in such a tiny apartment. This is the first entry I've favorited.
So cozy and so stylish! I absolutely love your place.
Amazing Apartment! So girly, yet chic :)
Where did you get the coffee table? LOVE it!
Tan chiquito y con dos recámaras y ambas con ventana! Qué envidia!
Lovely light - lovely apartm.
Perfect lighting. Such a cozy and beautiful place.
would like to have seen the bathroom & kitchen.
I thought I was the only one with a Mas Que Nada station on pandora. Beautiful place.
brilliant use of the light. I could take some pointers for my place. it's warm and bright, I like the minimal feel too. lovely.
Perfection.....a puff of light and beauty..
I'm obsessed! Do they decorate!?
I lie the furniture in your bedroom. Lovely place!
Beautiful!
two beautiful bedrooms in under 400 sf... amazing.
Soothing decor and wonderful placement of furniture in this cozy home. Thanks for sharing!
This is lovely! Light, charming and playful.
it feels like a cozy beach house, a little hideaway in Newport. You're so lucky to have this in the middle of new york city!
Beautiful! I love it!
Love the white on white...and all the light!
It's a beautiful space. Love it. But what's with the big black boots? I live in farm/cow country and folks...even the farmers don't put on boots like that unless there is serious rainfall. In NY! Too much.
I am in awe of the space arrangement. Two bedrooms in 390 square feet!!! Amazing!
I love love love the linens in BOTH bedrooms!!!!!
Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is really lovely.
Best entry yet! LOVE IT!
Hi.... ! I would like to share with you my Appartment Pshico-Maniak-Eskisofrenik Art pictures.... How can I upload pictures?
Perfect pastel palette. Kudos!
What a crisp, comfortable space - well done!
Oh my! This really inspires me! We are searching to buy our first home and I felt 1100 square feet was to small!
I love this, wonderful colors and textures. Very nicely done!
Where did you find that armoire? I've been searching for something similar.
So lovely! I am curious about your how your kitchen. Do you have just one sink, the one in the bathroom, in the apartment? Or is that little rectangle a sink and the fridge is tucked away someplace?
Just curious...
Gorgeous! Stylish without feeling overdone, and the light colors and uncluttered feel maximize the space. Really wonderfully done.
Very well done!
Fresh and so relaxing. Great job!!!
Fabulous!
Am. Completely. Obsessed. What an amazing apartment - I can't believe it's so small! So classy and inviting. LOVE.
Love the light.
Love the white.
Love the space.
Love the place!
xxo
May I move in tomorrow? Ab Fab.
Thank you to everyone for your wonderful comments! In response to Trixie, the small rectangle in the kitchen is a sink, and under the counter we have a teeny-tiny fridge and a teeny-tiny dishwasher. It's very compact, but it works for us! You really only need to food shop about two days out in New York.
I've been there in person and I am in awe of how well Bennett and Ryan decorated the place, especially given the small size. Spending a cozy December evening there with their beautiful tree and festive ambiance was just what I needed to get into the Christmas spirit! I can't wait to go back!
Beautiful use of space. I would like to see more photos of kitchen and bathroom.
Love the Drawings over the bed in bedroom #1.
So adorable! Can I move in?!
(Hey Mark!!!!)
Also great styling of the pictures. Love the use of shoes to convey your respective styles!!!
Thanks Heatha!
Your apartment looks like a graceful oasis of calm in the midst of the frenzied metropolis that is New York City. So sophisticated, yet your design seems effortless, even attainable, which is extremely inspiring!
Can't wait for the invite !
Love it, but where's the dog hair?
Simply as lovely as the decorator! Gorgeous!
Teeny, but a lovely use of space.
Absolutely Gorgeous!! Bravo!!!
How is it even possible to have 2 bedrooms in 390 sqft??? And how is it possible that you found this place, in NYC nonetheless??? Is this UWS or UES? Where can I find this place or ones like it in NYC.
Beautiful place! Love the feel of it. Could you tell me where you got your two rugs?
In response to LovesColor:
Both rugs, as well as the embroidered pillows on my bed are from Vanderhurd, where I work. Take a look at our website!: http://vanderhurd.com/
Very clean looking, love the white.
I love the color of the bedroom!! I am currently decorating a small bedroom and am looking for a similar paint hue. What color was this?
LOVE.....I live in a small apartment too but mine doesn't look any where as put together as yours. My vote is for you!
