We constantly post about different ways you can camouflage or hide your electronics. But what if a gadget was specifically designed to blend in with the décor? What if your TV could be overlooked as just another piece of art?
The BeoVision 10 is an HDTV that was designed to blend in. The LCD is built so that its chassis and speaker system are below the, creating a thin profile within a seamless black frame. "The result is one large piece of black glass in a square format which enhances the impression of the TV as a piece of art or wall décor when switched off. Furthermore, the designer ordered that the dimensions of BeoVision 10 resemble typical height and width measurements commonly found in posters and paintings, reinforcing the notion of blending in with the owner’s décor."

Genius! Design for context -- not just technology.. that's how it should be done!
Beautiful proportions when off, but I would go absolutely crazy with that rectangular negative space staring back at me when I was watching the TV.
Neat, but I'm with Patrick - the bottom of the screen would drive me batty.
Although a nice idea, the bottom bit would drive me crazy too like everyone else has said, not to mention that the bezel around it, just makes it look like a cheap picture frame, I know that's the point but if I'm going to spend that much money on it, I would want it looking like something better.
Another swing and a miss from B&O. Has anyone seen their new phones? They look like curling irons.
Umm... This already exists. It called the Sony Bravia NX800 with monolithic design. It available now and I'm sure it costs a lot less.
It=It's :)
Very nice. But as most said the bottom,when the TV is switched on looks weird.
