Routers can be some of the biggest pains in the you know what to incorporate with your home décor. Most of us try to simply shove these under a desk, behind some boxes, or under a pile of power and ethernet cords in the hopes that no one will notice. But what if there was a way to customize them so they were a little less heinous?
Berlin designers Johannes Laue and Johannes Schroth designed the 4010-overdress, a customisable cover for Deutsche Telekom's standard routers and television decoder. Made in two flavors -- wood or metal --the covers can be customized with your own personal engraving.
We're curious as to how well some of the buttons would work with this type of cover on them, though with TV receivers, we suppose you use your remote control more than you do tapping on the actual box.
