The classic Bertoia Side Chair is beautiful, but it's not the softest or most comfortable shape. We love what Jonathan Adler did with Bertoia chairs at the Parker in Palm Springs. He used candy colored round pillows to soften them up, and they look great against the white wire. It's a bold move, since the shape of the pillows extends beyond the top of the chair, but we think it really works.

To get a similar look, we'd pair a Bertoia Chair with a bold, graphic pillow like this Round Mitered Throw Pillow from Gold Crest.

I think these chairs are so overrated.
I think Jonathan Adler is so overrated. Not to mention derivative.
These chairs are neither soft nor comfortable? They look kind of silly...so many of them with big poofy cushoins, I mean if they aren't comfortable whats the point?
