One of the easiest ways to update a dated rental bathroom is with new hardware: new knobs, drawer pulls and towel racks. The right detail can take a retro bathroom modern and a bland bathroom into something minimal and cool. With hardware prices anywhere from $2-$2,000 it's also important to score a deal so you aren't sinking money into your rental like the money pit.
Top Row:
• Stainless Steel 3 in. Bar Pull 4-pack. This is the most modern and ubiquitous drawer pull and towel bar line from Home Depot. Check out how modern it makes Morgan's office look. $17.99/4 pack of drawer pulls.
• Double Prong Robe Hook, Satin Nickel. There's nothing like keeping it really simple with basic hooks for towels and robes. $2.98/each.
• Liberty 16 Mm Plaza Knob is modern and inexpensive at $1.99/each.
• Decor Bathware Tuscan Ceramic 24 In. Towel Bar these remind us of the 20's style bathrooms in old spanish style apartments. The clean white look is a nice break from all the metal we've seen recently. $13.88/each.
• Liberty Hardware 1-3/8 In. Double Beaded Knob. Add some black into the bathroom with these great vintage looking knobs. $3.79/each.
Second Row:
• Liberty 3 In. Victorian Glass Pull. These remind us of something we might find at Anthropologie, but at $4.97/each the price is much easier on the wallet.
• Liberty 30 MM Victorian Glass Knob. Ditto what we said above. A classic glass knob can make even the dowdiest bathroom feel a little fancy. $3.99/each.
• LaToscana Square Bathroom Hook High Quality Chrome Plated Brass. On the more expensive side is this great minimal hook for towels and robes. $41.60/each.
• Waterford, Toilet Paper Holder - Polished Nickel. This one is on sale for $10.79 and it's the convenient one armed kind that makes swapping out rolls much easier.
• USE Bollard 24 In. Towel Bar in Polished Chrome. Minimal and with a sleek designer (expensive) look and still under $100. $74.99/each.
Bottom Row:
• Utility Pull, Oil-Rubbed Bronze lends itself to a simple, farmhouse look. And at $2.79/each it's a steal.
• Symmons Naru Toilet Paper Holder in Polished Nickel. The most minimal toilet paper holder we could find. Easy on, easy off for the rolls of paper and no extraneous ornamentation. $98.90/each.
• Pegasus Dorset Series Toilet Paper Holder (Straight Bar Style), Chrome. This tp holder is a simple design for much less than the one above. $14.99/each.
• Gatco Antique Collection Tissue Holder In Polished Brass for if you're going for something a little over the top or vintage. $42.84/each.
• Ball End Coat & Hat Hook, Antique Brass $3.99/each.

re the Stainless Steel pull .... IKEA makes an identical version ... though it only comes in 6-29 inch lengths, I think it might be cheaper than HD. It's a good way to update an old cabinet, dresser, etc.
Toilet paper holder for almost one hundred dollars! Isn't this exorbitant?
Hah. I was just at Home Depot this weekend looking at some of this exact same hardware to add a hook to the entry area. The double robe hook (second image) is much smaller and shallower than it looks. My 1" wide purse strap wouldn't fit on it. The coat & hat hook (last image) is larger than it looks and seemed way more useful. I ended up getting something in between.
dont forget to check out their bulk packs for cabinet and drawer pulls. A little savings goes a long way when it comes to hardware, it adds up fast! 10 pulls seems like a lot when most bathrooms only have 2 or so cabinets but if you can share them between two bathrooms or another project its worth it.
Target also sells some nice inexpensive drawer and door pulls.
Check out Ikea for some nice inexpensive drawer and cabinet pulls. I especially like the Annars red handles.
I like the bottom polished brass piece - it has a vintage feel. I think this is made by Copper Mountain Hardware, though. I have this pattern in my cottage on lake michigan.
