I'm having trouble finding an attractive and affordable flush-mount ceiling fan.
Where is the honey hive looking fan from?
@anderlank, you should be able to shorten the hanging rod to your desired length but I am not sure if that would introduce any weird balance issues.
Sometimes I like a white fan that blends in with the white ceiling and walls. Sometimes I like a wood fan that looks warm and homey. Sometimes I like a black or metal fan that looks up-to-date. With my home's low ceilings, a white flush-mounted ceiling fan with a single, central, low-profile light might be best-looking, but power and efficiency are important, too.
OMG I love the Vent-Bettina!
I just replaced a builder special with a Trimark Studio White Ceiling Fan. Quiet, clean, and I can really feel the air on low. Now I want more fans for other rooms!
@EmNoel -- it's the Stella from Modern Fan: http://www.lumens.com/Stella-Ceiling-Fan-by-Modern-Fan-Company/uu387911/product
I've found that the best fan (table, ceiling, or otherwise) is air conditioning. :) Which incidentally I have at home, but not at work! I do wish I had seen this as our ceiling fans, which we NEVER use are pretty bad.
Thanks for this awesome list. We went with the Westinghouse Industrial Ceiling Fan.
Gets great reviews.
