love the teal one!
Does anyone know where I can get the wall decal of a coat rack? I have a tiny entryway with no room for a "real" one and thought this would work.
To me, coat racks look so cluttered. It's all good if you have one or two items artistically arranged on the rack, but if you need to hang more it starts to look like a hanging laundry pile.
For the wall decal, if you can't find one existing, try Alchemy on Etsy - I'd be someone could make you one.
What would you do, hang the decal and then strategically place a couple of hooks coming out of it?
Jig, my favorite coat rack is a wall sticker. It's the Coat Tree Wall Sticker from Ferm Living. You can find it on their website here, http://www.fermlivingshop.us/stickers/coattree.html, or elsewhere on the web for a bit less.
I also agree with meg_ues: Etsy or Alchemy on Etsy would be a great resource.
My other favorite racks (not mentioned here) are the Coat Check Coat Tree, available here (for only $25.00 !): http://www.perpetualkid.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1759, and the Tree Wall Rack, available here: http://www.gnr8.biz/product_info.php?products_id=268 (much pricier, but something I might try to make myself).
have a coatrack obsession. http://design-milk.com/tag/coatrack/
These hat stands are great, I particularly like the Albero Coat Rack by Lapalma in a contemporary room.
I searched ages for one I would really like and I found this great Eames style one which I love. AT inspired me to share it on my blog: http://topia7.com/blog/2008/06/eames-style-hat-stand.html
Wall Spine coat rack in brushed stainless steel is available on Etsy.
