I mentioned this in the farmtable post yesterday, but I was really pleased with the look and quality of the Crate&Barrel Cucina table. I used it with some modern West Elm chairs my client already owned and love how it turned out.

Any one that doesn't have legs in the way of your knees when you pull your chair under the table - it's my presonal pet peeve !
Therefore, I'd skip all the round tables except the Minna. I like the New Traditionalist and the Kalon Studios tables (and the Blu Dot one is functional if ugly).
I agree with @sfgirl. Table legs are a problem, especially if you need to seat varying numbers of people. Trestle and pedestal tables work best, or tables with slim legs at the VERY corners of the tables. And people like me are apt to trip over legs that project out from the table like the Blu Dot Branch.
Designs that are lovely to LOOK at might not be particularly functional.
