Wow, I was actually searching for fireplace tools this morning! These are kind of standard tools though and a bit samey... The comment by jess13 has some nice ones though :)
For years I looked high and low for fireplace tools that didn't look ridiculous next to my retro cone style fireplaces (two in the house, one out on the patio) to no avail. Then, about a year and half ago, vintage modern sets just started falling into my lap - one after another! Now I have a really cool set that I actually use in our brick indoor fireplace and I've got a bunch available in my booth space at a local antique mall. For real style, I prefer vintage '60s sets. Maybe if you are willing to spend more on new sets there might be more stylish units available but those above are little more than inoffensive at best. Except maybe the last set...that one's at least interesting.
Oh, and how about some sleek looking Andirons? Maybe do a Hi / Lo of five or six comparable styles from contemporary sleek to hand wrought antique. I have yet to find a set of vintage modern andirons (the things that ostensibly keep the burning logs from rolling out of the fireplace) at a reasonable price. Well, I take that back. I made the mistake of looking a gift horse in the mouth and passing on a beautiful and simple Art Deco set at an estate sale a while back and have been kicking myself ever since.
