I'm pretty sure my dogs would never go in this. Although they both LOVE going in their 'pod'...

I'm imagining the nightmare that would be keeping the glass on the Cubix clean and free of noseprints.
The Alabama reminds me of the 1950 Looney Tunes cartoon, "Dog Gone South", with Charlie the Dog:
"Oh Belvedere! Come Hyeah, Boy!"
Aah, Magnolias...
I wonder how Max would feel if I tried to make her sleep in a dog house with no 360' view of the house. She'd turn her nose up at it for sure. She'd drag her blanket out into her spot in the middle of the lounge and never look back.
Ha! The previous owners of our new house left one of these behind when they moved out. It's similar to the red one, but has a gated verandah out front (and, since it's for outdoor use, it is much more weathered and used-looking). Since we don't have a dog, we put it on Craigslist and the response has been a bit amazing. I never expected that so many people would want one.
Does anyone know what kind of dog that is in the main photo?
that dog's got a lazy eye
The dog is a Merle Australian Shepherd http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Shepherd. That's their "look".
Anyway: I kind of feel partial towards a dog house that seems bigger and nicer than my own.
Mybe I could sleep in there and let my little Cavalier have the bed.
My first thought was, "Only in America"...but then I saw they are made in Germany.
beautiful. I would love to make one if possible. I bet they are expensive! Love DIY.
