When I decorated my latest apartment, I had the hardest time finding a coffee table that worked for the small space and the dimensions of my low-height modern sofa. I remember wishing I could just make it myself. I ended up with one that I didn't love and three years later I'm in search for something a little more unique. Enter Etsy.

I've found some beautiful wood tables handmade by Etsy sellers. Not only are they all one of a kind (with other models to choose from), but they're decently priced too. I like the idea of supporting an independent artist as well (rather than buying something mass-produced and shipped from, say, China).
