I like my natural latex mattress. I bought it here: http://www.habitatfutons.com/
What about Hasten's beds... so gorgeous, but not so green due to shipping
I just bought a sleep number bed. I don't know how environmental the manufacturing is, but on the east coast the bed is made in South Carolina and shipped to my home in two large boxes. It is modular and we will have to put it together. Part of the reason we went with the sleep number is we wanted a king size bed but can't fit it up the stairs. Since the sleep number has to be put together we will be able to fit it up our stairs. A foam bed was also an option(since it comes compressed), but we wanted a more traditional bed feel. We will see how it feels when we actually sleep on it. One pitch the salesman gave us, was that since it is modular, if one piece breaks, you can replace that piece, not the whole bed. He sold as a financial plus, you don't have to buy a new bed. I guess you could spin it green, you don't have to by a whole new bed!
