When you have a baby, a high chair or booster seat becomes a very visible part of your dining area, and a well-designed one can make all the difference.
Safety and functionality are top priorities, but you don't have to sacrifice aesthetics for a good high chair. Here are a few of our current favorites.

We have the Svan highchair and love it. Our son is now 2 1/2 and sits in it without the tray and safety bar, so he can be pulled right up the the table. He can climb in and out by himself.

We have the Hilo highchair by Age and love it. We actually lowered it to the bigger kid level when my son was 10 months so it is aligned with the rest of us at the table.
It's a very simple and modern design and fits right in with the rest of our decor. Many of my friends that have other high end highchairs complain about the difficulty of cleaning them. This one is very very easy to clean.
We also have the Svan high chair and I love it. We used to have a Chicco monstrosity that I hated! It was so big and difficult to clean.
