Best Kids Parties: Alice Tea Party

My Party

Name: Emerie (3)
Location: American Fork, UT

Emerie asked for a "tea party with friends" for her 3rd birthday party. I took that tea party idea and added a touch of "Alice in Wonderland" since it's a favorite movie around our house. And for fun, we requested that the children come dressed up as their favorite princesses and superheroes - dressing up is one of Emerie's favorite things to do!

Most decorations were either homemade, thrifted, or creatively put together. All the teacups and teapots were thrifted and as a party favor, the kids were able to take home their very own teacup!

For lunch, we served "tea" sandwiches, grapes, and goldfish crackers - all of Emerie's favorite things! For dessert we had mini donuts and a lemon ruffle cake. The mini donuts (made with a mini donut maker) were a HUGE hit!

For activities, we made mini Mad Hatter hats! While I was hot gluing all the pieces the kids would choose for their hats, they stayed at the table and colored "Alice" coloring pages we found online. After the hats were completed, the kids were able to wear them and take them home as a second party favor!

The party lasted almost two hours and was a huge hit with the kids and the parents!

Thanks Megan! Readers, say hi to Megan on The Gelter Family.
