Best Kids Parties: Alvin & The Chipmunks

My Party

Name: Lyle
Location: Medford Lakes, NJ

Last summer, Lyle had an Alvin & the Chipmunks birthday party. It was before the release of the movie 'Chipwrecked' and there were not a lot of party resources/inspiration to be found. All of the balloons and tableware were based on the colors that the Chipmunks wear. We had a red Alvin table, a blue Simon table and a green Theodore table. For games, I made a Put-The-Glasses-On-Simon game (in the tradition of Pin-The-Tail-On-The-Donkey) and a Feed Theodore game which was like a bean bag toss except the kids threw plastic, fake food (a huge hit!).

We served red, blue and green fruits and juices and, of course, the Chipmunk favorites of toaster waffles and cheeseballs! Cupcakes were in red, green and blue papers and I made picks using Chipmunk images from the internet. Party guests received a plane that loops the loop and a hula hoop!
