Best Kids Parties: Balloons

My Party

Name: Emily (3)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO

It was pretty simple choosing the theme for my daughter Emily's third birthday. She LOVES balloons. And the more the merrier. When I did a quick search on Etsy and found the most adorable cake topper from the United Kingdom, it was a done deal. I chose yellow as the main color because it is bright and fun. Perfect for our little girl that adds so much sunshine to our lives.

We invited her best of friends over for pizza, chips, fruit, lemonade, cake, cookies and ice cream. All of my daughter's favorite things. After all, this party was for her. We didn't play any games, as most were not age appropriate and with toddlers you really have to keep things moving along with nap times approaching. Instead we had a pinata (by request of my daughter) and ended the party with a balloon launch with wishes attached.

It was the perfect party for our sweet three year old. Old fashion fun with all of her best friends by her side.

• TIP: I purchased an old school table and chairs on Craigslist for a steal of a deal. It worked perfectly for the party and we plan to use this for many years to come!
