Best Kids Parties: Black, White & Bright

My Party

Name: Eleanor, 1
Location: U.S.A.

Eleanor is our youngest of four children and she just turned one. We celebrated in our backyard as a family. I wanted to keep it super low key but still special.

We took our dining table and chairs outside for the party and it made it feel a bit more special. We ate pizza and watermelon for dinner and cake for dessert. I made two cakes so Eleanor would have one to herself. Her siblings were so excited for her birthday and equally excited for her party so I made each of them a party hat to wear out of scrapbook paper and bakers twine. I made Eleanor a shirt to wear for her birthday using Waverly fabric and this pattern. I made the banner, based on something I saw on this blog.

Thanks, Rachael! Readers, you can see more of this party on Rachael's blog, My Olson Family.
