Best Kids Parties: Carnival

My Party

Name: Gunnar Wiley (4)
Location: North Little Rock, AR

We planned to have Gunnar's party at home, but couldn't pass up on the Funland Park, which is right down the road. It's an "old-school" carnival that is for ages 2-9, with a few rides (like Tilt-A Whirl) for the grown ups.

I attempted, and succeeded, at the rainbow cake. I used tips from Momfluential and it turned out great - not a lot of skill, just tons of patience. I also made some easy buntings, as I've seen on many AT posts. I made a huge "no sew" bow-tie using hem tape, that looked adorable on Gunnar and brought him some attention in the park.

For party favors, I purchased large glasses, clown noses, and Pop Rocks candy from Oriental Trading. Popcorn from Atlanta Concessions & Catering was provided for snacks throughout the park. I made a photo booth and cut out free mustaches and lips from Living Locurto, and ordered invites from Etsy seller, MetroEvents.

Thanks, Robin - looks like a blast!
